Seven Sisters & Oak House

Walkthrough

The front door opens into a spacious hallway, providing ample room for storing coats and boots. Directly ahead, a door leads to the courtyard garden, while to the right, another door opens into the dining room. Adjacent to the dining room is the first bedroom, a versatile twin/double room. The dining room is generously sized, featuring a long table that comfortably seats ten. A wood-burning stove adds warmth and ambiance, creating a cozy atmosphere. Double patio doors open onto the courtyard garden, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Beyond the dining room, the fully equipped kitchen awaits, complete with everything needed for home cooking. Another door provides additional access to the courtyard garden. A soundproofed door leads to the Oak House, an adjoining space with its own kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor. Upstairs, you'll find a double bedroom and a bathroom with a freestanding bath. The sitting room features a large door opening onto the courtyard garden, while the Oak House has its own private entrance, distinguished by a stunning stained glass window depicting the Green Man. Between the kitchen and sitting room, another stained glass window showcases a beautiful image of the Abbey ruins, the Tor with St. Michael’s Tower, and the decorative cross found at the base of King Arthur’s grave.Back in the dining room, an exquisite staircase leads to the first floor of Seven Sisters. The staircase features two masterfully turned wooden posts by the legendary Stuart Mortimer, who holds the world record for the largest turned ball—so large that it can seat five people! At the top of the stairs, directly ahead, is the master bedroom, Celestia. Above the super king-sized bed, an enchanting Hobbit-style mezzanine bathroom houses a freestanding bath. Though the bathroom has a height restriction of 5'8", it offers a cozy retreat with a picturesque window view to enjoy while soaking in the tub.To the left of the stairs is Astralus, a serene twin/double bedroom. Continuing along the landing, you'll find a luxurious bathroom featuring a rainforest shower. At the end of the hallway is the final bedroom, Luminara, a charming and tranquil double room.

Seven Sisters and Oak House has a mystical charm that makes it Glastonbury's hidden treasure.
